For all of us who need to lose weight and if we had one wish, I would venture a guess that most would wish for the ability to lose weight fast. We all want to see results immediately, or sooner if possible. And there are some weight loss plans that do allow for quick weight loss but they may also be harmful to your health. Losing weight in a healthy manner is the only way it should be done. Remember, we are trying to improve our health not jeopardize it.


We all have different body types and different metabolisms which affects our ability to lose weight. Unfortunately some people put weight on more easily than others and also lose weight more easily than others. However the bottom line is you are overweight because you are eating the wrong foods for your particular body type. If you were eating the right foods you wouldn’t need to lose weight


A mistake that many people make in trying to lose weight fast is to stop eating! Starving is not the way! Eating to help one lose weight is a difficult concept to understand but it is what it is. We have to eat to lose weight! So basically if your have gained weight because you have eaten the wrong foods at the wrong time of day you can now lose weight by eating the right foods at the right time of day. Not long ago there was not much attention paid to the weight issue when it came to young people and children. It wasn’t considered a problem then. The problem of being over weight was considered an adult problem, because most people believed that an overweight child would lose that weight as they “grew up”. That was so far from reality and now we are faced with an ever growing number of children that are seriously over weight. People now want fast weight loss plans to reverse this trend and they are sometimes taking steps that are not in the best interests of their health.


There is no doubt that some action has to be taken regarding the weight issue and how it affects so many in our society. Eventually a decision to do something about the excess weight must be made and those that are serious about it will finally realize that you cannot employ short term methods. Losing weight should be viewed as a long term health benefit and the use of weight loss pills to induce fast weight loss is not necessarily the best course of action.

If you feel that it is in your best interests to use some sort of weight loss pill do some research on your own. Also, before taking any type of pill be sure to check with your doctor as there are many factors that could contribute to any problems you experience but it does not stop even when you cease taking the pills. These effects can be equally unpleasant in the same way that weight control pills are, like irritability, vomiting, depression, fatigue and insomnia to name only a few of the reported conditions. With so many side effects, maybe fast weight loss is not the answer.


Pills may provide some fast weight loss but at some cost. There are many concerns by some researchers who do not agree with the use of weight loss pills. However, despite all the bad publicity, some weight loss pills do work but there is a better chance if they are used in conjunction with a low calorie diet and regular exercise, preferably using a properly worked out exercise regime. A low calorie diet would consist of meals that contain vitamins, minerals and fiber which are all essential for good health; the best source is fruit and vegetables.

The weight loss industry is very successful. They know how to advertise their products to make us want to take their product or try their program. We all want to have that perfect body and most of us will spend the money if we think we can achieve that goal. The problem is that getting that perfect body doesn’t happen overnight. Fast-track diets are one of these fast weight loss practices which may not be as inviting as they seem according to research. Sometimes it feels as if there is a new fast weight loss product every week and just to add to the list is a product that promises to speed up a person’s metabolism and suppress the hunger desire all at the same time. More than this, the manufacturer also claims that helps with the body’s self healing mechanism and reduces some pains but is sounds more like a fashion accessory. I’m talking about ear rings. Apparently the magnetism in the earrings helps to keep the body’s own magnetic field synchronized and so the other benefits should be expected. To date, no evidence to support this has been submitted to any health or medical journals despite a number of press releases making these bold claims.


Many claims are made about the results you can achieve with the newest and greatest product. You can believe these claims if you want but inside you know that things that aren’t worked for do not last. If you want to lose weight fast using a program that will work, you will need to find a well balanced diet that suits you, one you can stick to and weight loss will happen just as fast as you want it to.

Well, once again you have decided to lose some weight. What a great feeling just to make that decision. You know it has to be done and now you are going to travel that road once again. If you are like me, then you love to eat. And there is nothing wrong with this as long as we control what we eat and how much we eat. The problem arises when we don’t control our eating. We put on some extra pounds. for some of us it may only be a pound or two, maybe even five or ten. But for some people, the extra weight added become a very serious health concern. Health problems begin to develop and if they are not addressed there will be dire consequences. Regardless of the number of pounds one puts on, we all are looking for quick ways to lose weight. But before you start any weight loss plan, be sure that it is a healthy plan.


One of the main reasons we gain weight is because we eat too many foods that are simply not healthy for us. They may taste delicious, but their nutritional value is highly suspect, and some have no nutritional values at all. If you continue to follow your bad eating habits you will continue to put on more and more weight. Are you over weight and eating too much? Well, I have news for you. Over eating, very little exercise and lack of nutritional education are among the main reasons many people become obese and over weight. Are there quick ways to lose weight? of course there are, but are they safe? We have to educate ourselves on safe and healthy weight loss.

I think we should re-structure our school curriculums and emphasize nutrition classes and exercise. Obesity has now been classified as an epidemic and one of the leading causes of disease and death in America. Hello there, do you realize this is a matter of life and death? Respect your body and be good to yourself and start a weight loss plan. Don’t just be looking for quick ways to lose weight. Take the proper approach and give yourself the time needed to change your body weight. Some of those quick weight loss plans do work, but they don’t sustain the weight loss, and the weight will come back, quicker than you lost it!


We have to give our body healthy and nutritious food. If we don’t it will not function properly and illness will eventually occur. It is that simple. And once we are at the stage where our weight problem causes illness, we then become almost desperate to lose weight. People then start to look for quick ways to lose weight. In this frame of mind we sometimes fail to think logically and sensibly. We begin to look for those plans that tell us we can melt those extra pounds away. We begin the journey of never ending weight loss by looking for the quick fix.


The quick fix just isn’t there. Of course you can follow some of those plans and you will see some very fast weight loss. But it doesn’t last. The weight loss turns into more weight gain once you stop the program. And if you stayed on any of these quick weight loss plans for an extended period of time, serious healthy problems will begin to appear. We have health problems from too much body weight and we can also develop health problems from following those plans that promise fast weight loss. Take the correct approach to weight loss. Don’t look for quick ways to lose weight, but search for a program that is sensible and healthy. You are more likely to keep the weight off.

When we want something we usually want it as quickly as possible. This is especially true when it comes to weight loss. For those of us who need to lose weight we want it to happen overnight. It doesn’t seem to matter that it may have taken years to put that extra weight on, we just want to get rid of it as quickly as possible. Some programs actually do promote fast weight loss, and in some cases people do experience some rapid lose of weight. However, we all know the long term result when weight loss is achieved in this manner.


It would be great if fast weight loss could be done in a healthy manner, but it just doesn’t happen.
Fast weight loss is the dream of many people because we are so impatient in this fast paced society we now live in. Permanent weight loss is actually a better option than fast weight loss, especially in the long run. Many people end up being yoyo dieters as a result of fast weight loss diets, as if you lose weight too quickly you are inevitably losing water and muscle as well as losing fat. As soon as you start eating normally, this weight will pile back on very quickly.


Those of us who are planning to take some action and actually do something about our weight problem, are focused on the weight that shows on our scale. We all seem to measure our success on this number. However, there is a misconception that this measurement is the one that tells whether your diet is successful or not. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Fast weight loss will inevitably be a combination of fat loss, water loss and muscle loss. This is not necessarily what we want to see. In real health terms we should be concerned about both the amount of fat tissue and the amount of lean muscle tissue. The body fat percentage is actually more important than your weight. Having more fat than lean tissue increases your health risk. Ideally no more than 15% of a man’s body and 22 % of a woman’s body should be fat.


With just about any weight loss program, one should see results in the first week if the plan is followed as suggested. After the first weeks things begin to slow down somewhat, but weight loss will continue regularly. With the fast weight loss diet the dieter will begin to plateau after the 2nd or 3rd week. Energy will start to wane because of the dietary regime they have been following.. As a result the dieter will start to eat a little more and some of the weight lost will be regained.


A safe, healthy weight loss plan is more effective in losing weight as well as maintaining the weight loss. The weight loss plan that has a slower approach may see a sudden weight loss in the first week – which will be mainly water, but then a steady 1lb or 1.5 lb a week from then on. At the end of a 12 week period the fast weight loss dieter will have lost maybe 2 -3 lb whereas the other dieter will have lost nearer to 13lb and will have experienced more sustained energy levels. It is also likely that the fast weight loss dieter will have lost some lean muscle which will ultimately be detrimental to their health


There are many different theories on the proper way to lose weight and maintain your weight loss at a healthy level. Whether you want to experience fast weight loss or a slower, more sustained weight loss, the key to weight control is to keep your blood sugar levels even. Excess glucose turns into fat. A lack of glucose leaves you feeling lethargic. Your glucose balance is influenced by many factors, including:-

The quality and type of fat you eat
